Megane fuel filter heater error

Hey, I'm having a weird issue with my 2023 Renault Megane diesel. It's done about 185000 km. I'm getting a fuel filter heater error, plus the engine's lost power and responds poorly. Fuel consumption's up, and it idles rough. I'm guessing it's a dodgy cable or plug on the heater. Anyone else seen this on their Megane?

I had something similar with my Megane. Check the fuel system, especially around the fuel filter itself. A faulty connection there can cause all sorts of problems, including power loss and rough running.

Thanks! Could you be more specific about what happened with yours? Was it actually a bad connection at the fuel filter, and if so, did it look corroded or damaged?

Yeah, it was the fuel filter. I didn't look closely myself. I just took it to a workshop, and they sorted it.

Got it, thanks. I took it to a workshop, and it was indeed the cable or plug connection. Cost 95€ to fix. Appreciate the help!
