Megane hybrid boost pressure control fault
Summary of the thread
A 2021 Renault Megane hybrid experienced a check engine light, reduced power, poor engine response, and increased fuel consumption, suspected to be a boost pressure control fault. A similar issue in another Megane was linked to a vacuum switching valve defect. The problem was confirmed and resolved by replacing the faulty valve, restoring the vehicle's performance.

No whistle that I've noticed. Where exactly was the intake manifold issue?

Right, it was a vacuum switching valve defect. I remember now. I tried to fix it myself, but in the end, I had to take it to a workshop. Probably best to get it checked by a pro.

Thanks for the tip! Took it to the shop, and it was indeed a defect in the vacuum switching valve. Repair cost was 140€. Runs like new again.

Hey, I have a Megane too (not sure of the year, it's a bit older), and that sounds super familiar! Did you notice any weird noises, like a slight whistle maybe? I had similar symptoms - loss of power, engine light, the whole shebang. For me the problem was the intake manifold, but I am not sure if the hybrid engine is identical to mine.
