Megane hybrid engine overheating

I'm experiencing an issue with my 2022 Renault Megane Hybrid. It has 52955 km on the clock. I've noticed the engine overheating, accompanied by the check engine light. There's also a coolant spill under the vehicle, suggesting excessive pressure in the cooling system. Could this be related to a control unit communication error?

I had something similar with my Megane. Was the diagnostic trouble code pointing towards a CAN bus communication fault? Maybe check the data link connector and the control module connections.

Thanks for your input! I will check it out. By data link connector do you mean the cable or plug connection of the component? I didn't find any issues related to the cable connection to the control module. Did you find a defective cable, or a defective plug connection?

Yes, it was indeed a defective plug connection. I would suggest visiting a workshop. They'll diagnose the issue properly, but it does sound like a control unit communication error. For me the final repair bill was 95€. Hope that helps!

I appreciate your help! I followed your advice and took it to a workshop. It was indeed a defective plug connection as you suspected. They resolved the communication error. Thanks again!
