The spare key does the same thing; keyless entry is dead, and the central locking is messed up. Do you remember if just changing the battery fixed it, or was it something bigger?

Yeah, both my keys were acting up. I didn't even try replacing the batteries myself. I just took it straight to a workshop, and they sorted it out pretty quick.

Thanks for the help. I'll try a new battery, and if that doesn't work, I'll see a technician. I replaced the battery and it worked. The grand total came to 37€ for the replacement and labour.

Hey! I have a Megane too. I had something similar happen a while back. Have you tried the spare key? Does that one work ok?
