Megane parking aid failure
Summary of the thread
A 2021 Renault Megane experienced a complete failure of its parking aid system, with no beeps or camera function, and an error stored in the memory. Initial checks ruled out fuse and sensor damage, leading to a suspicion of a connection issue. The problem was ultimately traced to a corroded connector to one of the sensors, which was resolved by a workshop.

Fuses seem fine, checked those first. No visible damage to the sensors either. So you reckon it's just a dodgy connection somewhere? Where should I even start looking for that?

Okay, fuses are good, sensors look okay… Yeah, a faulty connection is high on the list, especially with that error memory saying so. Without proper diagnostic tools, pinpointing it will be tough. It's probably the cable or plug. Honestly, for something like this, especially on a newer car, it's often quicker and less stressful to let a workshop take a look. But you do you!

Thanks for the advice! I took it to the shop. Turns out you were spot on – it was a corroded connector to one of the sensors. 95€ later and it's all sorted. Appreciate the help!

Parking aid fault on a 2021 Megane, eh? Hmm, could be a few things, but since it's completely dead, I'd lean towards a connection issue first. Have you checked the fuses? Are there any visible signs of damage to the sensors themselves? They are usually located in the bumper.
