Megane start stop malfunction

Hi, I'm having trouble with my 2022 Renault Megane gasoline. It has 42160 km. The start-stop system has stopped working. An error is stored, and the engine now shuts off at every red light, plus the warning light is on. I suspect it's a heavily discharged or defective battery. Anyone else had this?

I had a similar issue with my Megane. Is the battery relatively new?

Not really, three years old, so still the original one. Was it also the battery with you?

Yep, turned out to be the battery. I'd suggest getting it checked out at a workshop.

Thanks! Took your advice and went to the workshop. They confirmed it was a defective battery causing the start-stop issue. Cost me 290€, but at least it's fixed now.
