Megane start stop malfunction
Summary of the thread
A 2022 Renault Megane experienced a malfunction with its start-stop system, causing the engine to shut off at every red light and triggering a warning light. The suspected cause was a heavily discharged or defective battery. After consulting a workshop, it was confirmed that the battery was indeed the issue, and replacing it resolved the problem.

Not really, three years old, so still the original one. Was it also the battery with you?

Yep, turned out to be the battery. I'd suggest getting it checked out at a workshop.

Thanks! Took your advice and went to the workshop. They confirmed it was a defective battery causing the start-stop issue. Cost me 290€, but at least it's fixed now.

I had a similar issue with my Megane. Is the battery relatively new?
