Menlo intermittent errors

I've got a 2021 Chevy Menlo EV with about 185k km on it that's throwing some weird errors. Sometimes the driving mode acts up, or a warning light pops on. Even the audio/nav system glitches, and once in a while the whole thing just seems to reboot itself. I scanned for codes, and there's definitely something stored. Anyone else run into this?

Summary of the thread

A 2021 Chevy Menlo EV with 185,000 km is experiencing intermittent errors, including driving mode issues, warning lights, and system reboots. The problem is suspected to be related to the CAN BUS, which is responsible for communication between vehicle systems. A faulty cable connection to the control unit was identified as the cause, and repairing this resolved the issue.

Sounds familiar. I've got a Menlo too, and I had similar issues. Intermittent errors, system failures... Drove me nuts. Did it seem like a CAN BUS issue to you?

CAN BUS issue? I'm not really familiar with that kind of problem. What exactly should I be checking for?

Yeah, that's where all the systems talk to each other. My mechanic found a faulty cable connection to the control unit. I would take it to the workshop and have them check it out.

Thanks for the tip! It was indeed a defective cable connection to the control unit, as you suggested. Repair cost 155€. Appreciate the help!
