Menlo overvoltage errors
Summary of the thread
A 2023 Chevrolet Menlo with 208,000 km is experiencing overvoltage errors and various system failures, suggesting a significant electrical issue. The problem is likely related to the high-voltage battery system rather than the 12V auxiliary battery. Thanks for the quick reply! No recent work, and no obvious surges that I've noticed. When you say high-voltage battery system, are we talking about the main battery pack, or could it be something smaller like the 12V auxiliary battery that runs the accessories? Just trying to get a handle on the scope of the problem.

While a failing 12V auxiliary battery can cause electrical gremlins, the multiple overvoltage errors and system failures point towards the main high-voltage battery pack. It's imperative to have a qualified technician diagnose this promptly to prevent further damage. A defective battery can cause all sorts of issues. I would suggest that you bring the vehicle to the shop for inspection and repair.

Appreciate the advice! Looks like I'm heading to the shop. Turns out it was the battery, like you suspected. Ended up costing me 290€ for a new one and installation. Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction!

The symptoms you describe strongly suggest a significant electrical issue, most likely related to the high-voltage battery system. The overvoltage fault codes are particularly concerning as they indicate the car's ECU is detecting voltage levels exceeding acceptable parameters. Has there been any recent work done on the car's electrical system or any noticeable incidents like a power surge?
