Menlo turn signal lamp defective
Summary of the thread
A 2020 Chevrolet Menlo is experiencing a defective turn signal lamp, indicated by an error message on the speedometer and a visible fault in the lighting. The issue is suspected to be due to a defective cable or plug connection. A similar problem in another vehicle was resolved by addressing a corroded connector, suggesting that a professional workshop should inspect and repair the issue, especially given the complexities of electric vehicles.

It's mostly intermittent, but leaning towards completely dead now. The error message is becoming more frequent. With your Volvo, did you also suspect a cable issue initially?

Yes, I thought it was a dodgy wire. Turns out it was a corroded connector. Best to get it checked at a workshop, especially with electric vehicles, you don't want to mess with the electrics yourself.

Thanks for the advice! I appreciate you sharing your experience. I'll take it to the workshop. The diagnostic revealed a faulty connector. The repair cost me 95€, including parts and labor.

Interesting. I had a similar problem with my old Volvo a while back. Same symptoms – error message, light malfunction. Is the indicator completely dead, or is it just intermittent?
