Menlo Wiper Failure
Summary of the thread
A 2023 Chevrolet Menlo experienced a windshield wiper failure at 89,149 km, with an error code indicating a wiper motor issue. The fuse was checked and found to be fine, leading to speculation about a bad connection. A similar issue on a different vehicle was resolved by addressing corrosion in the wiring harness near the wiper motor. It is suggested to have a professional workshop inspect and repair the problem to avoid further complications.

Interesting! I haven't checked the turn signals since the wipers went out. And I don't think I've been in rain since this started. Where was the corrosion on your Volvo's wiring harness exactly? Was it easy to spot?

It was pretty obvious once I looked closely, underneath the plastic cover where the wiper motor sits. I wouldn't mess with it too much, though. Better to take it to a workshop to save yourself the headache.

Appreciate the insight! I was dreading chasing wires. Looks like a shop visit is in order. Got a quote for about 95€, so that's not too bad. Thanks!

Strange, I had something similar happen on my old Volvo V70. The wipers just died. For me, it was the wiring harness corroded near the wiper motor. Do your turn signals and rain sensor work? They might share wiring.
