Hello, yes, that really was quite a task. I was really annoyed to leave the car in the garage, but I have to say that since then the signal error in the audio system has been fixed and everything is working fine again. The cost of fixing the cable connection error was not without cost, it was €155 in total. But it was worth it, because since then I've been rid of the annoying interruptions. To be on the safe side, you should always have something on the high edge for such unforeseen events, right? To be honest, I would do the same again. Since the repair, I haven't had any further difficulties that could be related to the original problem. So hopefully you won't have to dig too deep into your pockets and the problem will be solved quickly. Keep your fingers crossed! Greetings!

Hello, thank you very much for your detailed reply! It's a bit reassuring to know that there were no additional problems after the repair. 155 is a hefty sum, but I'm willing to pay it if it solves the problem. I will take the car to the garage as soon as possible and hopefully it will be fully functional again soon. Thanks again for your helpful advice and keeping my fingers crossed. I hope you can continue to drive your car without any problems! See you then!

Hello, I had a similar problem with my Mercedes C Class (2016 model). In my case it was actually cable connection problems. At first I thought it was a simple problem, but it turned out to be a bit more serious. My sat nav and audio system would intermittently go off and then on again. Eventually the mechanics had to check all my wiring. It turned out that some cables were damaged inside and therefore the signal was not being transmitted correctly. The whole thing was quite a nuisance because the car spent a few days in the workshop. But since it was repaired, everything has been running like clockwork again. So, it's best to have it checked in a workshop as soon as possible. Hopefully that will help you. Take care of yourself!
