Mercedes A Klasse air suspension problems

My Mercedes A Klasse from is having air suspension issues, can anyone help

That sounds very familiar I also drive an A Klasse and I had similar issues with my air suspension. I initially thought it was just a minor air leak, but the symptoms you describe – the leaning, the error message – are exactly what I experienced. I must ask, have you checked the air lines themselves? Sometimes, a small crack or loose connection can cause a gradual loss of pressure, leading to the bellows valve overworking and eventually failing.

Thanks for the quick reply I appreciate the insight. I did visually inspect the air lines, but I didn't find any obvious cracks or leaks. Is there a more reliable method to check them, perhaps with soapy water or some other technique? I'm trying to avoid replacing the valve if it's just a minor air leak somewhere else in the suspension system.

While a soapy water test can sometimes reveal larger leaks, in my experience, it's not always effective for pinpointing the small, insidious leaks that plague these air suspension systems. Given that you've already visually inspected the lines and are still experiencing these severe symptoms, a defective bellows valve is highly probable. I suggest taking it to a trusted mechanic. They should be able to confirm the diagnosis and handle the repair correctly. Air suspension components can be tricky to work with, and improper installation can lead to further issues.

Thanks a lot for the advice I took your suggestion and brought it to a reputable mechanic. They confirmed it was indeed the air suspension bellows valve that was defective. The quote was fair. The car is now fixed and the air suspension is working perfectly again. I appreciate you sharing your experience; it saved me a lot of unnecessary troubleshooting
