Mercedes A Klasse Brake Issues

The feedback seems more pronounced during heavier braking, especially at higher speeds. Also, I have noticed that the car sometimes pulls slightly to one side when braking. Does this offer more clues about the hydraulic brakes, brake pads, or disc brakes?

The additional information regarding the car pulling to one side during braking is quite valuable. Given the combined symptoms, it is plausible that undervoltage in the vehicle's electrical system could be affecting the braking performance, especially if the car uses electronic assistance for the hydraulic brakes or disc brakes. The uneven braking force could also point to a problem with the brake rotors or metal brakes components causing uneven wear on the brake pads. A diagnostic check at a reputable workshop is strongly advised to ascertain the precise cause and ensure optimal safety.

I took the car to a workshop, and it turned out there was indeed an undervoltage issue affecting the braking system. They replaced the worn brake pads and rotors as well. The total repair cost was around 240€. The braking is smooth and consistent now!

The symptoms you describe regarding the brake pedal feedback on your 2019 Mercedes A Klasse are certainly indicative of a potential issue. While hydraulic brakes concerns, worn brake pads, or even issues with the disc brakes could be contributing factors, the mileage you have on the vehicle suggests a thorough inspection of the brake rotors and metal brakes components is warranted. Is the feedback consistent, or does it only occur under specific conditions, such as heavy braking or at certain speeds?
