Mercedes B Klasse air suspension problem

My 2010 Mercedes B Klasse with a gasoline engine has an air suspension issue at 178541 km. The car is sitting low, won't lift, and is leaning. I'm getting an error message and a bumpy ride. Error codes point to a faulty air suspension bellows valve. Does this sound like a classic air spring failure?

Sounds familiar. I had a similar air suspension issue with my B Klasse. Bumpy ride, error messages. Maybe an air leak? Have you checked for hissing sounds around the air springs? How old are they?

I haven't listened for hissing, but I'll check. The air springs are original. Is it common for the valve itself to fail independently?

In my case, the valve on the air spring failed, causing a leak. Considering the age and mileage, a failing valve is possible. I'd suggest a workshop check. Did you get a quote?

Thanks. The workshop confirmed the air suspension air bag valve was defective. Repair cost me 590€. The suspension is working perfectly now.
