I did an OBD scan, which revealed a misfire code, pointing to a potential issue with the fuel injectors. Given your experience, could you elaborate on how a malfunctioning injector impacted your vehicle's performance and emissions? Did you observe any specific patterns or behaviors that substantiated the diagnosis before addressing the issue?

The performance was noticeably sluggish, especially on inclines. The emissions light flickered a few times, too. Honestly, with those symptoms and the error code, I didn't dig too deep myself. I took it straight to a reputable shop. It's best to get it properly diagnosed and potentially cleaned or replaced. It's a precision system, and messing with it without the right tools or knowledge can lead to more problems. They'll be able to confirm if it's just dirty or actually defective.

Based on your advice, I took my Mercedes to a qualified workshop. The diagnosis confirmed a defective injection nozzle, needing replacement. The repair cost 515€, for the nozzle replacement and recalibration of the fuel injection system. After the repair, the vehicle's performance is back to normal, and the symptoms are gone. Thank you again for your assistance.

Sounds familiar. I had similar issues with my B Klasse. Rough idling, poor performance, and it felt like I was filling up the tank constantly. Have you checked for any error codes? A misfire can definitely throw things off, and with those kind of kilometers, it's not uncommon for the injection system to need some attention. Think of it like a clogged artery – the engine isn't getting the fuel it needs, when it needs it.
