Thank you for your response. I have attempted that procedure multiple times, holding the window switch in the 'up' position for varying durations, as well as in the 'down' position, but without success. Is there a specific sequence or timing that you recall being crucial to the process? Is it possible that a deeper dive is needed, maybe involving removing the door panel to physically inspect the window regulator or window motor?

If the standard reset procedure isn't working, and you've already tried various timings, it does sound like something more complex is at play. In my case, the reset worked on the second try. Since yours is not responding, and given the potential complexity of modern car electronics, it might be best to have a qualified technician diagnose the issue. It's possible there's a fault within the window regulator itself or the associated control module. Perhaps a professional can pinpoint the exact cause without unnecessary disassembly.

I appreciate your input and experiences. I followed your advice and took the vehicle to a trusted workshop. It turned out to be a corrupted window regulator module that required replacement and subsequent coding to the vehicle. The total repair cost amounted to approximately 290€. Thank you again for your assistance.

I understand you're having trouble with your Mercedes C Klasse's power windows after a battery replacement. I had a similar issue with my C Klasse some time ago. It's possible the window regulator needs to be reset or re-initialized. Have you tried the reset procedure? Typically, it involves holding the window switch in the 'up' position for a few seconds after the window is fully closed.
