Interesting! I don't have a reader to check the error code by myself. Is there really no other reason than the sensor?

While it's impossible to rule out all other possibilities without a proper diagnostic check, a depleted sensor battery is highly probable given the mileage and the symptoms you describe. Other potential, though less likely, causes could include a faulty TPMS receiver module or wiring issues, but these are rare. Given the age of the vehicle and mileage, I would advise having a workshop check the TPMS sensors. Prepare for a bill of around 280€.

Thanks a lot for the advice! I took it to the workshop and it turned out to be exactly what you said: empty sensor battery! They replaced the sensor and the error is gone.

I experienced a similar sensor fault with my Volvo. The symptoms sound like a classic case of a failing tire pressure sensor. These sensors have internal batteries that eventually deplete. The error being stored confirms a genuine TPMS issue rather than a simple flat tire situation. Are you able to read the specific error code? Sometimes, the code will identify which sensor is the problem.
