Mercedes Citan Diesel Engine Trouble

My 2014 Mercedes Citan diesel is acting up It has 273077 km The engine sometimes won't start, cuts out while driving, and runs rough I suspected the ignition coil, but the dashboard light is normal Is there an ignition switch fuse that could cause this

I had something similar with my Citan When you say it doesn't start, does the starter motor even try to crank the engine For me, the car ignition was completely dead sometimes And then it would randomly shut off The starter motor gets the engine going initially

When it doesn't start, the starter motor does nothing at all It's completely dead If it was your car ignition, what did you do to fix it

That sounds very similar to what I experienced I wasn't able to fix it myself I took it to a workshop, and they sorted it I was thinking it might be the ignition switch itself, or maybe even a wiring issue somewhere It sounds like more than just a fuse I suggest you take it to a mechanic

Thanks for the advice I went to the workshop It was a defective fuse related to the car ignition They replaced it, and it cost me 52€ Seems to be running perfectly now Appreciate the help
