Thanks for the quick reply I have not spotted any obvious corrosion, but I will definitely give the wiring harness and starter solenoid area a closer look When you had the problem, was it also intermittent at first, or did it just suddenly refuse to start Also, did you manage to fix it yourself, or did you end up taking it to a workshop

In my case, the fault presented itself suddenly without prior warning Given the electrical nature of the problem and the potential for further complications, I elected to seek assistance from a qualified technician While a visual inspection may reveal obvious defects, specialized diagnostic equipment is often necessary to pinpoint the root cause with certainty I would advise against attempting repairs without the requisite expertise and tools

Understood Sounds like a trip to the workshop is unavoidable Thanks for sharing your experience; it is reassuring to know someone else had a similar issue Turns out it was a loose connection in the wiring harness, just like you suspected They cleaned it up, reconnected everything, and it is starting fine now Total cost was exactly as quoted Appreciate the advice

I own a similar Citan, not the electric variant, and encountered a comparable issue some time ago The symptoms you describe align with my experience I would recommend a thorough inspection of the wiring harness, particularly around the area of the starter solenoid Have you observed any evidence of corrosion or damage to the cable or plug connections
