Mercedes Citan temperature sensor issue

I'm seeing an issue with the outside temperature sensor on my 2023 Mercedes Citan electric It's got 256001 km on it There's an error stored and the AC won't kick on the spray nozzles stay frozen even when it's not that cold and the mirror heating isn't working I'm thinking it might be a bad cable or plug causing the sensor to fail Could that throw off the sensor calibration too What sensor checks can I do myself before swapping the sensor

I had something similar on my old Opel I think it was a bad temperature sensor Did you look at the wiring and connections Replacing the sensor fixed it for me Maybe take it to a shop

It was an Opel Astra They didn't do any sensor checks in front of me The shop just saw the error and said to replace the temperature sensor Apparently it happens a lot

I'm going to take my Mercedes Citan to the shop to get the outside temperature sensor looked at The temperature sensor replacement did fix the problem and the AC and mirror heating are working now The bill was 95€ Thanks for the help
