Mercedes CLA Hybrid Audio System Silence
Summary of the thread
A 2022 Mercedes CLA hybrid's audio system has stopped producing sound, with the volume control and Bluetooth connection failing to resolve the issue. Possible causes include defective speakers or a blown fuse. Checking the fuse box and testing the speakers are suggested, but professional inspection is recommended. Ultimately, the problem was identified as a defective bass speaker, which was replaced to restore functionality.

Speakers and fuses, huh I haven't actually checked those myself. Where exactly would I find the fuse for the audio system And is there an easy way to test the car speakers

The fuse box location should be in your owner's manual; usually there are diagrams. As for the speakers, it's trickier without proper equipment. Given all the symptoms you describe, especially the Bluetooth issue, it does point to something more than just blown speakers. It might be worth taking it to a workshop to avoid further issues.

Okay, so I took your advice and got it checked out. Turns out the bass speaker was defective. Cost me 280€ to get it sorted. Thanks for the help

Sounds frustrating. I had a similar experience with my old BMW a few years back. Radio, CD, everything just went dead. Did you check the car speakers or perhaps consider that it could be a fuse
