Mercedes CLA Hybrid Injection Nozzle Issue

I'm having an issue with my 2021 Mercedes CLA hybrid. At 219243 km, I suspect a defective injection nozzle. The signs are rough starts, higher fuel consumption, reduced engine power, uneven idling, and occasional stalling. I suspect a clogged injection valve. Has anyone else experienced similar symptoms? I've seen an estimate of around 515€ for a replacement. I'm also concerned about the emissions implications. Any shared experiences or advice regarding performance impacts and nozzle replacement would be appreciated.

Oh no, that sounds awful! I think I had something similar happen with my CLA. Is it possible that a dirty injection valve is causing all those problems? I am really sorry to hear about your issues with poor starts and engine stalling. Hopefully it is an easy fix!

Thanks for the reply. You mentioned a similar issue with your CLA. Could you elaborate a bit on what you experienced exactly? Specifically, were your symptoms as varied as mine, and did you also suspect a clogging issue? Any details you can share about your repair process would be greatly appreciated.

Well, I'm no expert, but yes, it seems comparable. My car was not running smoothly at all, but I started to worry about it so I immediately took it to a certified Mercedes-Benz workshop. It is always better to be safe than sorry I think!

Thanks for confirming, that's helpful. I appreciate the advice and I'll get it booked in for a diagnostic check. The workshop visit sounds like the best approach, especially given the potential impact on emissions and engine performance. Hopefully, the replacement cost won't be too far off the initial estimate.
