Thank you for your input. Could you elaborate on the specifics of the Volvo issue and how it relates to the control module?

Sure thing! With the Volvo, the parking assist module ended up being the culprit. It wasn't sending signals correctly, messing everything up. My mechanic said it could've been corrosion on the connectors. Honestly, I'd just get it checked out by a workshop to be sure. Better safe than sorry!

Understood, I appreciate the insight. The issue was indeed faulty wiring, as suspected. After inspection and repair of the cable, the parking aid system is now functioning correctly.

Whoa, that sounds frustrating! I had a similar issue with my old Volvo a while back. The parking sensors went haywire. Did you check the proximity sensors themselves? I remember reading something about faulty wiring messing with the ultrasonic sensors too. It could also be the radar sensors freaking out if it's anything like mine was. Was the control module tested?
