I am familiar with Mercedes-Benz vehicles. I had a similar issue with the temperature sensor influencing the climate control on my CLA. Did you examine the sensor's readings via the diagnostic interface? Sometimes, the values can fluctuate wildly. A defective connection is possible, but the sensor itself could be the cause. Has the sensor been exposed to any impacts or environmental changes? Also, what specific error code is being reported?

The error code being reported is B10CD15. Regarding environmental changes, the vehicle has been consistently garaged and has not been subjected to any significant impacts. Given the error code, does your experience suggest a definitive diagnosis, or would further fault detection be necessary before proceeding?

B10CD15. Considering the error code and your care of the vehicle, it seems more inclined towards a connection issue or a sensor malfunction, rather than an external influence. While further fault detection could be performed, the predicted repair cost you mentioned (95€) is relatively reasonable. Sometimes it is more expeditious, and ultimately more cost-effective, to simply replace the sensor and ensure the connections are pristine. However, going to a trusted workshop for precise diagnostics would certainly not be an imprudent decision.

Based on your experience and the repair cost, I proceeded with replacing the sensor and ensuring the connections were secure. Following your advice, I took my vehicle to a trusted workshop. The solar sensor was faulty. After replacing it and verifying all connections, the heating system now performs optimally. The error has been cleared. Thank you for your invaluable assistance.
