Mercedes CLK engine control unit issue

I have a CLK and remember something similar. Did you check the wiring and connections to the computer? Sometimes corrosion or a loose wire acts like the ECU is failing.

The symptoms were like yours: low power and an ECU error code. But after looking into it, the ECU was fine. I'd suggest getting a good diagnostic check at a shop before fixing the ECU.

I appreciate the advice. You were right. The main relay was bad, and replacing it fixed the problem. I didn't need to repair the ECU. The cost was about 120€, like I thought. Thanks again.
