My 2003 Mercedes CLK with a gasoline engine won't start and the check engine light is on The automatic transmission isn't shifting right, feels like it's slipping I scanned the error codes and something about the transmission is stored Anyone ever deal with a faulty parking position I'm being told a defective control unit is the culprit with a repair that could hit 1000€

It was indeed the transmission control unit as suspected Had it replaced and got a full transmission repair The car starts fine now, shifts like a dream and that awful check engine light is finally gone Cost me close to 1000€ but at least it's fixed Thanks for the advice
