Mercedes E Klasse Diesel Air Suspension Problem
Summary of the thread
A 2018 Mercedes E Klasse Diesel experienced a collapsed air suspension, causing the car to lean and produce a bumpy ride, accompanied by an error message. Diagnostics identified a faulty bellows valve, potentially due to an air leak, as the core issue. A similar problem in an Audi A6 suggested that such symptoms often point to an air leak in the system. The recommended solution was to have the vehicle inspected at a workshop, where the bellows valve was confirmed as the problem and subsequently repaired.

Yes, the diagnostic tool specifically flagged the bellows valve. Did your Audi throw the same error, or did it point to something else initially?

My Audi didn't specifically say bellows valve, but it did flag a general suspension issue and an air leak. Given your error code and symptoms, a defective bellows valve seems likely. I'd suggest getting it checked at a workshop. It could be more complex than just the valve itself.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I took it to the shop, and you were right. It was indeed the bellows valve. The repair cost me 590€. I appreciate the input.

That sounds familiar. I had similar ride height problems with my older Audi A6. It turned out to be a small air leak in the system. Was the bellows valve the only error code you received?
