I don't have the equipment to read the error codes myself. When you say clogging in the fuel system, are you referring to the injection nozzles specifically, or could it be something else too? Is there any chance the error code is related to something else entirely?

Could be other things, but based on your symptoms, I'd bet on the injectors. It's the most common reason for a misfire. If the error code points to a specific cylinder misfiring, that would strongly suggest an injector issue. Best to get it checked out professionally though, as it can impact emissions.

I took my E Klasse to the workshop. They confirmed it was indeed a defective injection nozzle, likely due to clogging. The repair cost me 515€. The new nozzle resolved all the issues. Thanks for the advice!

Sounds like a possible injection issue. I had similar symptoms with my old BMW – rough start, bad mileage, the works. Clogging in the fuel system can definitely cause those problems. Has the check engine light come on? If so, you can try reading out the error codes. That might give you a clue before you go to the workshop.
