Force anything Not intentionally no I just scanned for codes and then cleared them I didn't change any settings or try any advanced functions Is it possible the computer reset itself erasing the drive cycle data even though I just cleared the codes

Yup clearing codes can sometimes reset those monitors It's annoying The system readiness needs to be met for vehicle inspection too Now the car needs to re-run all the tests and that can take a while I had to drive mine for days before it was ready If it doesn’t reset after a week take it to a workshop

Thanks I drove the car for around 80km and now the check engine light is gone and the OBD readiness is set A vehicle inspection confirmed that every system is working as expected I don't need to pay anything at the workshop so the final repair cost was 0€ Never gonna use an OBD2 scanner again

Whoa hang in there I've got an E Klasse too and I had a similar issue after using a cheap OBD2 reader It sounds like you've messed up the OBD readiness monitors Basically it means your car's computer hasn't finished running all the self-tests it needs to Did you try to force anything with the OBD tool
