Chip tuning, huh? That's interesting. I bought it used a couple of years back. How did you figure out it was the tuning causing the problem? Did you need a special car diagnostic tool to find it?

Yeah, the Volvo was a mess. A mechanic spotted it during a routine service. Standard auto scanner couldn't pinpoint it, but the guy knew what to look for. I'd suggest taking yours to a workshop and having them check for aftermarket modifications. It's worth investigating before you start replacing sensors or something.

Thanks for the tip. I took it to a workshop today, and you were spot on! It had some cheap aftermarket tuning installed. They removed it, cleared the diagnostic code, and now it runs like a dream. Cost me 180€ to remove it. Appreciate the help!

Sounds familiar. I had similar issues with my old Volvo V70. Same symptoms: reduced power, check engine light, vague diagnostic code. It turned out a previous owner had installed some cheap chip tuning thing. The car's computer was not happy. Maybe check if yours has had any modifications?
