Interesting issue I own a Mercedes EQC as well and experienced a somewhat similar problem with my car seats The error memory also indicated a fault Did you by any chance check the voltage of the auxiliary battery A heavily discharged or defective auxiliary battery can cause such issues Have you attempted a hard reset of the system to see if the error clears

Hmm, auxiliary battery voltage I haven't checked that specifically Where would I even find that, and how would I test it A hard reset, you say Is that just disconnecting the main battery for a while I am a bit worried about messing something up What exactly did you do to fix your power seats

The auxiliary battery location can vary, but it's usually in the trunk or under the hood, consult your owner's manual for the exact location Testing requires a multimeter A hard reset does involve disconnecting the main battery, but given your apprehension, and the diagnostic code present, I suggest a visit to a qualified workshop They can properly diagnose the issue, confirm the battery's condition, check the seat wiring, and provide a precise repair estimate In my case, the issue was indeed the auxiliary battery The replacement cost was approximately 290€ It's better to have it professionally assessed to avoid further complications

Thanks for the advice I appreciate the info on the auxiliary battery and the heads up about the potential cost I think I will take it to the shop and let them have a look Seems like the safest bet Turns out it was the battery, just like you said All fixed now, thanks
