Dear Forum Members! I have a 2023 Mercedes EQC, which is electric and has driven 30350 km. I am struggling with a malfunctioning alarm system. I bought the car new, but they cannot eliminate the SOS error code. I have already been to the Pécs service center several times, where they replaced the GPS receiver, checked the cables and updated the software, but the problem still persists. Every time I start the car, a message appears stating that the SOS call is not working. I would like to find the cause of the error while the car is under warranty. Does anyone have similar experience or suggestions for a solution? Regards: Róbert Pusztai.

I recommend checking if there are any outstanding recalls or service bulletins related to the SOS system for your vehicle. Sometimes, manufacturers release updates or fixes for known issues that service centers might not be aware of immediately. If this doesn't resolve the issue, consider contacting Mercedes-Benz customer service directly for further assistance. Please keep us updated on your progress.
