Mercedes EQC Windshield Washer Heater Problem

Anyone else having windshield washer heater issues on a 2023 Electric Mercedes EQC with high mileage and frozen spray nozzles

That sounds like the issue I had with my EQC. Frozen spray nozzles despite enough fluid, error memory reporting a fault, and a bad connection. I found a corroded connector leading to the heating element itself. Did you check the cable and plug connections for corrosion or damage? Also, did you check the voltage reaching the heating element when the wipers are on?

Thanks for the reply. I did a quick look at the cable and plug connections, but not super closely. Where was the connector you mentioned, and how did you check the voltage? I know how to do electrical tests, but any EQC-specific tips would help. I want to be sure before I take it to a shop and start taking the car apart.

The connector was near the base of the washer fluid reservoir, a bit hidden. You'll need to be flexible and have a good light. To check the voltage, I used a multimeter on the heating element connector while the wipers were on. Anything way below 12V means a bad connection or heating element. With the error code, I'd suggest a technician. They can find the real problem and avoid any issues from DIY repairs, especially with these modern systems.

Thanks for the detailed help and advice. It really helped me figure things out. I talked to a Mercedes-Benz tech who found a bad cable connection like you said. They fixed it fast, and the cost was about what I thought it would be. I really appreciate your help.
