Mercedes EQV connectivity issues

Has anyone else with a 2023 Mercedes EQV Electric experienced function restrictions? I can't connect my smartphone to the infotainment system. A diagnostic scan shows an error, but the error's nature is unclear. I've tried restarting the system, checking Bluetooth, and reading the manual. The engine light is off, and the brakes, suspension, ignition, and transmission seem fine.

I have a similar EQV and had a comparable issue. The phone connection problem could be a communication module glitch. Have you tried deleting the pairing from both your phone and the car, then reconnecting?

Could you explain the steps you took to delete and re-establish the pairing? Did you have any errors during the process, or notice anything unusual with the infotainment system before or after fixing the connection? Did the error in the memory go away after resolving the phone connection?

I think I just used the settings menu. The error stayed even after re-pairing. Given the error memory and the phone issue, a Mercedes-Benz technician might be best. They can diagnose any software or hardware problems.

I consulted a technician, and the problem was an incorrect pairing, requiring communication module reinitialization. The cost was 45€. Smartphone connectivity is restored, and the error memory is clear. Your initial advice helped speed up the diagnosis. Thanks again.
