Thanks for the quick reply. I'll check the brake light, but where is the speed sensor located? Is it difficult to access?

The speed sensor location can vary, but it's often near a wheel hub. Honestly, unless you are comfortable working on cars, I would not recommend trying to access it yourself. It's better to get it checked professionally. My issue was a defective plug connection, and the workshop fixed it quickly. I'd suggest a diagnostic check to pinpoint the exact problem.

I have the same model, and I had a similar problem. First thing, check your brake light. A faulty brake light switch can disable the cruise control. Also, have you noticed any dashboard light related to the speed sensor or any issues with the pedal switch? These can all affect cruise control. It's worth a quick look before you go further.
