Mercedes EQV Rear Ventilation Problem
Summary of the thread
A 2021 Mercedes EQV owner reported issues with the rear ventilation flap, strange climate control behavior, and weak rear air conditioning, suspecting a cable or plug connection problem. Another participant suggested checking the fuses, which led to the discovery of a faulty connection. After a workshop visit, the connection issue was confirmed and resolved, restoring the vehicle's climate control functionality.

Fuses, eh? I hadn't considered that. Wouldn't that affect other systems too? Was it only the rear climate acting up in your Skoda, or were you getting weirdness up front as well? Where should I look for these fuses?

Just the rear ventilation was affected. Check the fuse box diagram; there should be one specifically for the rear HVAC. If the fuse is fine, it's likely a wiring fault as you suspect. A workshop visit is probably unavoidable.

You're a legend! It WAS a dodgy connection. The workshop confirmed it. The HVAC repair was easy once they found it. The automatic climate is back, and the rear passengers are comfortable! Thanks for the pointer!

I had similar issues on a 2016 Skoda Octavia. Same symptoms, ventilation all over the place. Have you checked all the fuses?
