Mercedes GLA Air Conditioning Problem
Summary of the thread
A 2017 Mercedes GLA is experiencing an air conditioning issue where the AC is not cooling, and a warning light is on, with error memory indicating a fault with the AC compressor. Possible causes include low refrigerant levels, a leak, or a faulty sensor affecting refrigerant pressure. The suggested solution is to visit a workshop for a proper diagnosis and potential AC compressor replacement.

I have not checked the refrigerant levels myself, as I lack the necessary equipment and knowledge I cannot discern any distinct sounds from the AC compressor Could you elaborate on the specifics of the problem you encountered with your Opel

With my Opel, the AC just stopped working suddenly I took it to a workshop, and they ran some tests Turns out the AC compressor had completely failed They suspected it was due to a faulty sensor messing with the refrigerant pressure, but couldn't be 100 percent sure Since you're seeing error codes and the AC system isn't even turning on, it really sounds like you should visit a workshop They can diagnose the issue properly and tell you what needs fixing

I appreciate your help I will schedule an appointment with a trusted workshop to have the vehicle inspected Based on your experience, I am now more prepared for a potential AC compressor replacement Thank you again for sharing your insights regarding this air conditioning repair

That sounds familiar I had similar AC issues with my old Opel The refrigerant wouldn't flow and the AC was useless I'm no expert, but did you check the refrigerant levels Maybe it's just a leak Or perhaps a fuse AC compressor problems can be a pain Is the AC compressor making any weird noises
