Mercedes GLA Diesel Rough Engine Issue

My 2013 Mercedes GLA diesel engine runs rough and the check engine light is on. Diagnostic codes suggest I need to reset the quantity drift compensation, and the error memory suggests a defective injector. Has anyone else seen this and what did you try before going to a professional?

Whoa, sounds rough! I had something similar happen with my old Renault. I'm no expert, but could a bad sensor be messing with the fuel injection? Maybe check those before doing a system reset?

Thank you for the suggestion. Which sensors are you referring to specifically? I want to explore all options before resetting the drift compensation.

On my Renault, it was a faulty oxygen sensor. I'm not sure about your Mercedes, but maybe check the ones related to fuel mixture? My knowledge is limited; I just took it to a workshop to get it sorted!

I consulted a technician, and the issue was faulty fuel injectors. After replacement and a drift compensation reset, the problem is resolved. The repair cost was 515€.
