Mercedes GLA 2021 Diesel door locking system failure at 258856 km The doors cannot be locked or unlocked using the automatic locks Initial assessment suggests a defective cable or plug connection Has anyone encountered similar issues Is it likely to be related to the car sensor the door latch or the car alarm system I'm estimating a repair cost of around 95€

It started with intermittent issues, then progressed to a complete failure Couldn't lock or unlock the car remotely and the car alarm kept going off randomly I'd suggest taking it to a workshop They can diagnose the car sensor and door latch connection properly

Thank you for confirming I took it to a workshop as suggested The cable connection to the door sensor was indeed faulty The repair cost was 95€ as anticipated The automatic locks and car alarm are now functioning correctly
