Mercedes GLA Hybrid High Voltage System Error

My 2023 Mercedes GLA Hybrid is giving me a high-voltage system error message around 241564 km. Sometimes the engine shuts off, and other times it has reduced power. The error memory shows a stored error related to the high-voltage system. Is this a battery or inverter problem, or maybe wiring? I suspect a defective or discharged battery. Has anyone else had this happen?

That sounds rough. I had a similar EV problem with my Mercedes C-Class. It turned out to be an inverter issue. I'd check the battery connections and maybe get the battery tested. Is the battery light on?

Thanks for the quick response. When you had the inverter issue, did it also cause the engine to shut off completely? Were there any other warning signs besides the battery light?

Yeah, it totally shut down on me a couple of times. Super annoying. No other lights that I remember. I ended up taking it to the workshop, and they sorted it. I recommend you do the same.

Thanks for sharing your experience. It's reassuring to know I'm not alone. I took it to the workshop, and it was a defective high-voltage battery. The repair cost me 290€. I appreciate the help.
