Mercedes GLC Diesel Rear Ventilation Error

My 2021 Mercedes GLC diesel is throwing an error related to the rear ventilation. The AC isn't cooling and the error memory shows a fault. Mileage is at 8271 km. I suspect it's the air circulation system. Has anyone else seen this HVAC issue, maybe a defective cable or plug?

The symptoms suggest a problem with a flap actuator. The error memory probably has a code pointing to the faulty part. A bad cable or plug is a common cause. Did you use an OBD scanner to get the fault code? Knowing the code will help find the faulty flap.

I haven't used an OBD scanner. Can I visually inspect the flap actuator and its connections, or is it buried? Where would I find the flap actuator?

Inspecting the flap actuator and connections on a GLC is hard. They're behind the dashboard, so you need tools and knowledge to get to them. Given the complexity and AC issue, a workshop for diagnostics is safest. The 95€ repair cost sounds right for a bad connection. They can find the faulty flap actuator.

Thanks for the advice. You confirmed what I thought. I'll take it to a workshop. Hopefully, it's just a loose connection at the flap actuator.
