Mercedes GLE Brake Fluid Loss and Spongy Pedal
Summary of the thread
A 2019 Mercedes GLE diesel with 253,263 km exhibited consistently low brake fluid levels and a spongy brake pedal. The core problem was identified as worn front brakes, which were replaced along with the brake fluid. This resolved the issue, resulting in a firm and responsive brake pedal.

Did you notice any other symptoms besides the fluid loss and spongy brake pedal? Was the issue resolved simply by replacing the worn components of the brake system, or did it require more extensive work like addressing the master cylinder?

Just the fluid and the pedal feel. I kept topping up the fluid, but I suggest you take it to a workshop as soon as possible. It could be dangerous.

After inspection, the front car brakes were worn and required replacement. I also had a brake fluid replacement. The total cost was around 480€. The brake pedal now feels firm and responsive. Thanks for the assistance!

I had something similar with my GLE a spongy brake pedal and the brake fluid level kept dropping. Have you checked your brake pads? It might be worth investigating.
