Mercedes GLE Hybrid Engine Stalling Issue Resolved
Summary of the thread
A 2023 Mercedes GLE Hybrid experienced engine stalling and a check engine light, with error memory indicating incorrect fuel composition. Initial attempts to resolve the issue with fuel additives were unsuccessful. A suggestion to inspect cable and plug connections led to the discovery of a defective connection, which was causing incorrect fuel mixture readings. Repairing this connection resolved the stalling issue, restoring the vehicle's performance.

Interesting. Was your issue also related to fuel composition? Where exactly should I be looking for this cable and plug? Is it easily accessible, or will I need to disassemble part of the engine?

Yes, it was the same error. Honestly, it's probably best to take it to a workshop. They'll be able to diagnose it properly. In my case, the faulty connection was causing incorrect readings, messing with the fuel mixture and leading to engine knock. It's like having a loose wire in your home's electrical system; hard to find without the right tools.

Thanks for the advice! I took it to the workshop, and you were right. It was a defective cable connection. They charged 95€ for the repair. Runs like new again.

I had something similar happen on my GLE. Check the cable and plug connection of the component. It might be defective.
