Mercedes GLE Key Fob Battery Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2020 Mercedes GLE hybrid owner is experiencing issues with their key fob, including a 'key battery low' warning, non-functional keyless access, and inconsistent unlocking. The problem is suspected to be a dying key fob battery. Testing with a spare key confirmed the issue, as the spare worked fine. The suggested solution is to replace the key fob battery, which can be done at a workshop for a reasonable cost.

Thanks for the quick reply I didn't think about the spare key If it works, does that mean it's the fob battery Did you replace the battery yourself or use a service professional

Yes, if the spare works, it points to the low battery in your usual key fob I considered replacing it myself, but I worried about damage I took it to the workshop The battery replacement was inexpensive

I have a GLE and know the frustration I had a similar issue with my key fob The range was terrible, and sometimes the car wouldn't detect the key Have you tried your spare key That might help isolate the problem
