Thanks I checked the water sensor but didn't see anything. Where should I check for the cable and plug connections? I'm not a pro mechanic.

Examine the wiring harness leading to the sensor. Trace the wires back, checking for damage, chafing, or loose connections. Consider a workshop visit, as there could be complications and a need for tools. Is it worth risking damage for a minor issue?

Thanks for the advice. It was a faulty connection. A new plug and some wiring fixed it. The cost was 95€.

I had a similar issue with my BMW. Sensor error codes can mean electrical faults. Check the sensor cable and plug connection. Are they clean and properly seated? Any corrosion?
