Mercedes GLS diesel audio system silent

I'm experiencing an issue with the sound system in my 2021 Mercedes GLS diesel. The audio system is completely silent, there's no audio output whatsoever. The mileage is currently at 175819 km. Has anyone encountered a similar problem, or have any suggestions on where to begin troubleshooting? I've checked the basic settings, but I'm at a loss.

I had a similar issue with my GLS, though I can't remember what year it is. Complete radio silence. No sound from any source. For me, it turned out to be a defective bass speaker. Do you notice any sound distortion before the audio completely cut out?

Thanks for the reply. No, there wasn't any sound distortion. It just went silent all of a sudden. If it was the bass speaker, would that cause the entire system to fail like that?

Yes, that's exactly what happened to mine. Apparently, when the bass speaker goes, it can take down the whole system. It's a weird design flaw, in my opinion. I would suggest taking it to a workshop and having them check the speaker. I bet that's the problem.
