The connections look okay, but I'll check again. Was it definitely the pressure sensor, or could something else cause similar symptoms? I'd like to avoid unnecessary costs.

For me, it was the pressure sensor. Replacing it fixed the problem. But with those symptoms and the warning light, a workshop diagnosis is best to be sure. You don't want to risk further damage and impacting engine performance.

Thanks for the input. It was the exhaust back pressure sensor. The auto repair cost 245€, but the car runs smoothly now.

That sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my older Volvo. Same symptoms: warning light and the car was choking when accelerating. Turned out to be the pressure sensor. Have you checked the sensor connections?
