Mercedes GLS hybrid fuel delivery issues
Summary of the thread
A 2022 Mercedes GLS hybrid experienced intermittent fuel delivery issues, including a rough-running engine, stalling at idle, and jerking during acceleration, with the check engine light on. The suspected cause was a defective fuel pressure sensor or a cable connection issue affecting the fuel injector. After confirming similar experiences from others, the problem was resolved by replacing the faulty fuel pressure sensor and addressing the cable connection, which resolved all symptoms.

Thanks. Did you experience similar stalling and jerking? Was it consistently reproducible, or more intermittent? Do you recall any specific diagnostic codes related to the pressure sensor?

The symptoms match what I experienced. Given the potential impact on fuel delivery, I suggest taking it to a workshop to have the pressure sensor and related connections thoroughly inspected. A faulty sensor will trigger a DTC.

Thanks for the confirmation and advice. It was a defective fuel pressure sensor; the cable connection was indeed the issue. Replacement cost 95€. All symptoms are resolved. Thanks again.

I had similar symptoms on my GLS. Have you checked the pressure sensor? It could be affecting the fuel system's ability to properly regulate pressure. An erratic sensor can certainly cause those symptoms.
