Hey, yes, I can tell you that. It cost me €355 to repair the EGR valve. Since then, my GLE has been running smoothly again and the original symptoms have been successfully resolved. The functional fault in the EGR valve has therefore been completely rectified and nothing else has occurred so far. Hope this helps you! Good luck with your GLS! Best regards!

Hey, thanks for the detailed info! I'm reassured to know that you were able to fix it successfully. I will probably make a workshop appointment and have the EGR valve checked. Hopefully that will be the solution to my problems. I'll let you know how it turns out. Thanks again! Best regards!

Hey, I had similar problems with my 2019 Mercedes GLE Diesel. My symptoms were pretty much exactly the same: Check engine light on, engine sometimes shutting off by itself, loss of power, rough engine running, heavy exhaust emissions and vibrations at idle. At the workshop, the EGR valve was actually identified as the culprit. The valve was completely clogged and jammed. It had to be replaced. That was quite a big job because the EGR valve is quite hidden and the mechanic had to remove quite a bit to get to it. But after the repair, the engine ran perfectly again and the symptoms were all gone. Hope this helps you. Best regards!
