Mercedes M Klasse Diesel Engine Starting Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2010 Mercedes M Klasse with a diesel engine faced a starting issue, displaying an error message "Terminal 15 ignition positive interrupted." This problem could be due to a defective cable or plug, possibly causing a voltage drop. Suggestions included checking the fuse box and relay switch, but ultimately, a workshop diagnosed the issue as a corroded connector, which was repaired for 95€.

Thanks for the hint. Where is the relay switch located, and which fuse box should I focus on? Should I expect visible damage, or do I need to measure something specific? I don't have much experience with these things.

Well, in my case, it was difficult to find. Instead of causing more issues, perhaps you should consider a workshop. They will measure voltage drop and identify the faulty component.

Thanks for the help. I ended up taking it to a shop as you suggested. Turns out it was a corroded connector. The repair cost was 95€, as initially suspected.

Sounds familiar. I had a similar Mercedes M Klasse, though I don't remember the exact year. I had a similar car won't start issue with that exact error code. Did you check the fuse box and the relay switch?
